Après 2 semaines de votes sur le site, auquel 3 760 internautes ont participé, les lauréats des Trophées du Trail 2016 ont été annoncé ce samedi 10 décembre 2016 en marge du Trail de Noël et d’une conférence organisée aux Saisies.
57 athlètes répartis dans 3 catégories, trails courts (jusqu’à 40 km), trails classiques (de 40 km à 100 km) et Ultra Trails (au delà de 100 km), avaient été désigné à partir de leurs performances 2016 et de leur cotation ITRA.

Ce ne sont donc pas uniquement les succès médiatiques ou la présence sur les réseaux sociaux qui sont récompensés, mais avant tout la performance athlétique.
Sans trop de surprises !
Une fois les votes des internautes, terminés, au lendemain de La Saintélyon, les 3 coureurs ayant obtenu le plus de suffrage dans chaque catégorie étaient alors désignés comme les candidats au titre de meilleur trailer et meilleure traileuse 2016.
Nous avons ensuite soumis chaque trio à un jury de 6 personnes (journalistes du milieu et experts de la discipline) pour leur demander d’établir leur classement de 1 à 3, le vote des internautes comptant lui aussi au même titre.
Le coureur ayant le moins de points l’emportant, ce sont donc 7 voix qui étaient attribuées.

• Cédric Fleureton : 8 points
