Tout d’abord, un bon point pour ce modèle de chaussure Raidlight pour le trail : la taille est correcte, il ne faut pas prendre trois tailles supplémentaires comme sur d’autres références de la marque. Ensuite, l’étonnement continue avec des sensations plutôt positives : le chaussant est ajusté et confortable, doté d’une grosse épaisseur de mousse qui donne l’impression d’être dans un cocon – sympa en hiver mais, par temps chaud, le rembourrage doit vite transformer la chaussure en sauna. Le maintien est très satisfaisant sur l’avant, mais la prise basse au niveau de l’arrière du collier laisse le talon trop libre, à tel point que le pied est à deux doigts de sortir de la chaussure dans les montées ! Le laçage n’est guère efficace avec un système de cordelette qui a laissé nos testeurs perplexes tant il s’est révélé peu fonctionnel. L’amorti est très présent, la semelle est trop rigide et l’ensemble demeure trop lourd. L’accroche est efficace, comme souvent chez Raidlight, mais l’adhérence laisse à désirer. D’aspect robuste pour la montagne malgré un pare-pierres illusoire, le modèle est également équipé pour fixer des guêtres (velcro, boucles, passants). Néanmoins la meilleure chaussure Raidlight testée lors de cette session 2017.
Pour tout type de coureur en quête de rigidité. Pour les utilisateurs de guêtres.
